Tech-ni-Fold to reveal new solutions at The Print Show

Tech-ni-Fold has announced that it will use its appearance at The Print Show 2025 to display a number of new solutions, including two retrofit tooling products.

Visitors to stand P12 at the NEC this September will be able to learn more about these new solutions and how they can improve the performance of folding and finishing machine.

The first new offering is Section Score, which had been developed for section and signature work. A variation of the famous Tri-Creaser tool from Tech-ni-Fold, it aids the fold on multiple sheets, allowing more work to be folded easier.

“By replacing our standard rubber rings with specially modified plastic versions, this allows quicker changeovers of tooling and at a fraction of the cost of standard OEM tools,” Tech-ni-Fold said.

Also on show will be Pharma Score, another variation on the Tri-Creaser and also uses plastic creasing bands, with the exception being that this version has been specially designed to fit smaller folding machines with uniquely sized female channels to take on pharmaceutical work.

“As with the Section Score, changeover times are greatly reduced, and replacement parts are far more affordable,” the manufacturer said.

Another new solution comes from Technicrease, a new part of the business. These bespoke units, or cassettes, have been designed to fit in line with a customer’s web press units.

“We know that adding finishing capabilities to existing web machines can be a costly exercise with no guarantee on the quality of results, so we have created these solutions to allows customers to add superior creasing and micro-perforating at a cost that is more achievable than other web solutions,” Tech-ni-Fold said.

In addition, visitors can view the established CreaseStream range of desktop machines.
