Spandex has revealed plans to demonstrate the swissQprint Impala LED UV flatbed printer on its stand at The Print Show this year, citing the event as the “perfect opportunity” to showcase the technology.

The device has nine freely configurable colour channels, including white, varnish and specific spot colours, opening up various options to users.

Spandex is the exclusive distributor of swissQprint in the UK.

Steve Pridham, UK wide-format product manager at Spandex, comments: “The Print Show is the perfect opportunity to show the machine’s capabilities.”

Meanwhile, Spandex experts will also be on hand to discuss the five new printer models in the swissQprint range—the Generation 3.

Launched earlier this year, the portfolio includes the new Nyala 3S and Impala 3S, which run at speeds of up to 370sq m/hr and 317 q m/hr, respectively. The models also feature an enhanced roll-to-roll feature, including a dual roll option.

Pridham adds: “The Generation 3 models, which were launched by swissQprint earlier this year, build on the technological advantages of the current range of printers such as LED curing and modular systems that allow customers to ‘build’ their machine to suit the specific needs of their business.”

In addition to hardware, visitors will be able to speak with Spandex staff about its collection of materials for both the signage and digital markets.
