In our cluttered, distracted and fast-changing world, stories, expertly crafted and passionately told, can cut through the noise, by grabbing attention and building trust. Put simply, businesses that tell stories are simply more successful than businesses that do not. 

In this talk, Marcus explains the art and science of storytelling and why this is so important. The talk includes inspiring examples of storytelling and what people must do to craft the best stories that ensure trust, a sense of adventure, the hero’s journey, the struggle, innovation, inspiration and ultimately, success.

This session will inspire people to rethink how they communicate whether this is through a speech, a presentation, an article, a podcast interview, or a simple conversation.

Marcus entered the print sector in 2006 when he joined FESPA and became sales and marketing director, helping to grow the event business into a global entity and market leader.

In 2011, he left along with MD Frazer Chesterman, to establish FM Brooks, which became part of the Mack Brooks Exhibitions Group. During this time, they launched InPrint Show, before selling the event in 2019.

Since then, they have established FM Future and launched FuturePrint, an online digital platform, community and event organiser with over 16,000 global subscribers.
