The Printing Industries Confederation (PICON) is the latest major name to sign up for a stand at The Print Show 2018, which runs from September 18th to 20th at the NEC.

PICON represents suppliers of printing machinery and paper machinery manufacturers and converters. 16 PICON members have already booked stands at the show and a 17th is also attending to support a partner company.

Bettine Pellant, chief executive officer of PICON, says: “Supporting members at trade shows is an important part of our service. Since its launch in 2015 The Print Show has grown and flourished, covering traditional and new technologies, and we feel the time is right to give it our support. Our stand (D60) will be a hospitality lounge where members exhibiting or visiting can rest, recuperate and network.

“PICON would like to increase its presence at trade shows when we can see a real opportunity to offer effective support for our members. We will run a UK Pavilion at Drupa in 2020 (June 16th to 26th) and we continue to help promote our members elsewhere when there are promising home or export sales opportunities.”

It is an exciting year for PICON as it will celebrate its 100th anniversary later in the year, a landmark it has achieved by remaining relevant and proactive. Through its lobbying work and exhibition support, PICON provides a valuable networking resource.

Pellant and her colleague Cathy Haywood will be at the show to welcome visitors to the stand so pop by for a relaxed chat, to network with others in the print industry and get your burning print questions answered.
