Minuteman Press Cardiff has revealed plans to follow up on an investment at The Print Show 2017 by returning to the event this year and further strengthen its production offering.

The Cardiff-based company saw the Vivid Matrix 370-P in action on the Vivid Laminating Technologies stand in Telford last year and opted to purchase a machine shortly after the event.

Louise Williams, branch manager at Minuteman Press, has praised the impact of the machine and also paid tribute to The Print Show for offering a platform to companies to showcase their latest kit to a wider audience.

“Going to a print show is always a good day out as you get to see new ideas and machinery, with the anticipation that you may see the perfect machine for your company,” William explains.

“There were several options at the show, but we were impressed by the Vivid Matrix 370-P, as it was mainly built in the UK. Production-wise, it is fast, but also has the added bonus of foiling not just lamination!

“Plus there was a special show deal price, which made it good value for money.”

Keen to build on this, Williams notes that the Cardiff company will be back at The Print Show this year at the NEv in Birmingham to check out some of the latest technologies, and has already earmarked a Morgana machine as a possible investment.

“We will be returning this year and be looking to upgrade our bookletmaker,” Williams says, adding: “We were drawn to a Morgana machine last visit, so will definitely be popping over to their stand, but we will be keeping an eye out for a good deal.”
