Digital print finishing and bindery solutions distributor Ashgate has revealed it will use this year’s edition of The Print Show to demonstrate new products to a UK audience.
A number of new solutions will be shown at Drupa earlier in the year, but with a focus on the UK market, Ashgate will bring these to the NEC in September so that members of the UK industry can see the kit in action.
Lewis Price, managing director of Ashgate, says the company is excited to be sharing the new technologies with visitors at The Print Show 2020.
“We know our suppliers have some very exciting developments, which we can’t wait to share and demonstrate live,” Price says.
“We’ll have the latest systems on display from Fastbind. These will include smart case-makers, PUR binders and lay flat binding systems. The latest version of the KF640 A4 landscape bookletmaker will be another genuinely unique offering to the market to view live.
“And of course, we’ll have a few new surprising items – which we cant even begin to mention.”
As to why Ashgate is using The Print Show to display the new kit, Price says: “Having been the very first company to sign up for the inaugural Print Show, we have always asked for a nationwide print event. The Print Show has always been a great event – bringing the industry together.
“To be honest, it was a no brainer to attend once again. Especially coming into a Drupa year, where we can bring the newly launched systems to home soil.”
